Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: June 2026
At Odyssey West Notary LLC, we value your time and appreciate your business. To ensure efficient scheduling and availability for all clients, the following Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all mobile notary, remote online notarization (RON), and loan signing services.
Appointment Cancellations
Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment without penalty by providing at least two (2) hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations made more than two (2) hours before the appointment will receive a full refund of any prepaid service fees.

Appointments may be rescheduled at no additional charge when notice is provided at least two (2) hours in advance.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made less than two (2) hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to the full service amount, particularly when travel has already begun or appointment time has been reserved exclusively for the client.
No-Show Policy
If the signer is unavailable, fails to appear, or cannot be contacted at the scheduled appointment time, the appointment will be considered a No-Show.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund and may be charged the full service fee, including any applicable travel fees.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

Appointment canceled with at least two (2) hours' notice.

Odyssey West Notary LLC is unable to provide the requested service due to scheduling conflicts or circumstances within our control.

Duplicate payments or billing errors.
Non-Refundable Services
The following fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered:

Completed notarizations.

Mobile travel fees after travel has commenced.
-
Remote Online Notarization (RON) sessions that have begun.

Printing, document preparation, courier, scan-back, or administrative services already performed.

Loan signing services that have been completed or substantially performed.
Refusal of Service
Odyssey West Notary LLC reserves the right to refuse notarization services when required by law, including but not limited to:

Lack of proper identification.

Incomplete documents.
-
Signer appears unwilling, coerced, or unable to understand the transaction.

Any circumstance that would violate Texas notary laws.
In such cases, travel and administrative fees may still apply and are not refundable.
Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on the financial institution's processing time.
